Something I've been working on for a while now. No particular inspiration or reason behind it. I just wanted something to draw and this is what came out of it.
I've been making a habit of re-using different elements from previous vector works. I place them into the new picture and mess with them a bit so they dont look exactly the same. Its the lazy way to make decent background scenery for sure. In this instance i used the rain from the Storm picture i did a while back and just made it alot more dense to give the illusion of depth (and of a friggin downpour).
I tried to make the blood on the girl look like it was starting to get washed away by the rain. It was kind of an experiment on my part. I hope it worked.
wow ... turned out beautiful ^_^ glad to see you post something. I notice she is short on jewelery compared to your normal females ... i like it ^_^ awesome sword.
i think the blood splatter effect turned out great.
I gatta say ... she does give you kinda that uneasy-"why us she staring at me"-feel

She is really creepy. The rain and the building in the background are very pretty. I love her outfit too, and the coloring of the hair. There seems to be such a story behind this image. It's good to see artwork from you again.

yes the blood does look like it's starting to wash of.
minor thing, but the buildings on the mountainside probably wouldn't have a flat lower edge.
otherwise, i'm having a hard time seeing anything to pick at.
i really dig the depth & intensity of the rain. good work on the blood, it does seem to be running off her.
even though the background is pretty distant, it seems better incorporated with the foreground than a lot of your pieces.
i really need to do more drawing
